Ghiyath Nakshbendi, PHD., Founding President

Ghiyath Nakshbendi, a Fulbright Scholar, draws upon more than 35 years of diverse business and academic experience on U.S. and international levels. He introduced at American University, and teach the first graduate and undergraduate academic course on Islamic Finance in the District of Columbia area.  His involvement with Islamic Finance and alternative financing methods begin in developmental financing with major regional finance organizations in the gulf. Contact him here: gnakshbendi@acfaf.org

 

 

 

Nader Ghrewati, LLB, Vice President

Mr. Ghrewati held executive positons in several NGOs across the nation.  He helped in the formation and management of the Islamic Center of Harrison in the State of New York, which servers as a cultural center in the community. He was trained as a lawyer overseas and his expertise lie in civil laws and contracts. His combined experience in executive positions and legal expertise make him a special source for alternative finance methods.
